Not too sure if it's good news or bad news, but a new school will be built beside Edgedale Green. Its date of completion is Sept 2009.

Yep, I think it will be completed before the time. Anyway I think they are anticipating that more babies will be born in Punggol in the next few years!

Actually, It won't be too bad lah. My FH stays at the block just beside a primary school now.  It's not that bad and noisy as some might think lor.... However for those staying at lower levels - level 5 and below, think the noise is clearer loh.  My FH stays at level 9 and the noise is not that disturbing leh.

Anyway, I consider it a convenience cos my future child can go to that school.  Convenient for our next generations  Cheesy

The primary school is BEHIND Edgedale Green. And yes, the school has already been planned and factored in during the proposal of Edgedale Green. So people who bought the flats there has already expect a primary school to mushroom up.

yah, already i have a daily alarm clock at 8am from the dogs barking (yes, they're still going on every weekday, think weekends they "take a break" from barking  ), now looks like we're going to have an even earlier alarm..

not forgetting, before the kids sing maleekeeta, the principal will be on PA system telling the kids to keep quiet, fingers on the lips, stand in line, read their story books, ... oh dear.. but yah lor, we chose the flats already knowing there'll be a school, and i really rather have school than another another block of flats facing us.. Smiley

wow, kids living in edgedale green can juz simply wake up juz before 730, walk downstairs, and start school!  if forget to bring book, parents can juz "throw" the books down from their units.  not bad.

hey from the model shown during the recent exhibition, this primary school will be sandwiched between us, and another new cluster of flats?!  if i'm not wrong, this wasn't indicated in our brochures previously rite?

I notice a container and a portable toilet are being set up at the open field in front of Blk 636B.  Anyone knows what are they doing there?
